Chiropractic care is not universal. Doctors of chiropractic generally graduate with the same education. We spend the next few years refining and honing our skills. One doctor of chiropractic does not employ the same technique or therapies as another.
I learned early on that I had a strong commitment to the care of the soft tissue. I felt that if I spent some time caring for muscles and ligaments, as well as the spine, my patients got better faster, adjustments lasted longer and I felt more dynamic.
My philosophy and practice regarding this remains the same today. Chiropractic care in our office always includes a 5-10 minute soft tissue massage in conjunction with our spinal adjustments. It means our patients spend a few more minutes with us, but the results speak for themselves.
